The Shuffle 2 LED helmet by Specialized is designed to keep the youngest riders safe, visible, and excited to ride. Developed in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Mips, this helmet incorporates advanced child-specific research and engineering. By studying the softness and developmental needs of children’s skulls using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the design introduced more low-density foam to better protect young riders. Because children’s heads are softer and still growing, the outcome of this collaboration was the use of low-density foam — and more of it.

DATA-DRIVEN INNOVATION: As a result of the partnership between Specialized, KTH, and Mips, the Shuffle 2 LED increased the amount of low-density foam inside by 18%, while increasing the overall size of the helmet by only 5%.

That’s why Specialized designed the Shuffle 2 LED with child-specific sizing and the SX headset fit system, to help it stay properly fitted and comfortable at all times. The easy-to-use Tri-Fix web splitter makes getting a fuss-free fit incredibly simple — all adding up to a helmet that kids will want to wear every day.

LED LIGHT: The Shuffle 2 LED comes equipped with an integrated LED tail light for increased visibility. The LED light blends seamlessly into the helmet’s design, allowing kids to enjoy their adventures while giving parents peace of mind that their child is visible.

UNLEASH THEIR IMAGINATION: On the outside, the Shuffle 2 LED comes in vibrant colors to inspire fun and creativity in adventure-hungry kids. The included sticker pack adds a retro vibe with a modern twist — bold graphics and fun lettering — for extra personalization.
